Hello, my name is Swarna. I am a first-generation immigrant, born and raised in India, currently living and working in Vancouver, Canada. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a masters in counselling psychology and art therapy from Adler University.
Having personally navigated the challenges of cultural identity and life transitions as an immigrant and woman of color, I deeply understand the complexities of balancing multiple cultural worlds. My counseling approach is shaped by both personal experience and professional expertise, allowing me to connect with and support clients in a way that honors their unique and nuanced journeys.
I have experience supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges, including grief, abuse, domestic and intimate partner violence, PTSD, relationship transitions, chronic pain, cultural struggles, intergenerational trauma, acculturation challenges, and significant life changes.
My approach is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, integrating relevant therapeutic modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, and Adlerian Therapy.
As a trained art therapist, I also integrate creative expression to help you process and integrate when words alone may feel limiting.
Whether you’re navigating trauma, adjusting to new life circumstances, or processing overwhelming emotions, my hope is to create a safe space rooted in curiosity, authenticity, and compassion, where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to reclaim your strength and move forward with clarity and self-compassion.

Hello, I’m Nivedita. I’m a South Asian, BIPOC therapist, born and raised in India, and now living in Canada after graduating my Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Adler University.
As an immigrant woman of colour, I know how powerful it is to feel truly seen, heard, and supported—especially when you’re navigating the in-between spaces of culture, identity, and where you belong.
For over 8 years, I’ve worked with people from different cultures and walks of life, going through trauma and abuse, women’s issues, intimate partner violence, suicide ideation, anxiety, grief and loss, cultural challenges, and those quiet struggles that don’t always get noticed.
I offer a warm, intuitive, and collaborative space, grounded in cultural sensitivity with deep
respect for your story. Here, you don’t have to explain away your feelings or prove your
pain—your presence is enough. Healing unfolds at its own pace, and I’m here to walk alongside
you in that process.
I use a mix of approaches like Gestalt Therapy, nature-based work, somatic practices, and Internal Family Systems to support healing in your mind, body, and spirit. I also welcome spirituality into the room when it feels meaningful to you.
Whether you’re working through past pain, getting to know yourself better, or trying to navigate
life with more ease, I trust that you already have a lot of wisdom within you. We’ll go at a pace
that feels safe, kind, and right for you.

Hello, my name is Rahul. I am a male, BIPOC Registered Clinical Counsellor of Punjabi Indian descent. I hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology from UCLA, and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University.
My path to practice has been winding and non-traditional; my lived experience affords me the ability to readily connect with and understand the needs of a diverse set of populations. At the same time, my social and cultural background affords me the ability to connect with and understand the needs of a very specific population – the Canadian South Asian community.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, anchored by client wisdom and expertise. Our work together is to develop self-awareness, from awareness of the factors that contribute to currently experienced distress, to awareness of values and beliefs that shape the ways in which we walk through life.
My clients receive a tailored approach to care based on an aggregate of trauma-informed humanistic and psychodynamic modalities.
I treat a variety of concerns, ranging from but not limited to: trauma and abuse; depression and anxiety; substance use; marriage and family distress; men’s issues; and chronic pain.
Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is a type of mental health treatment. In therapy, clients work one-on-one with a trained mental health clinician in a safe, supportive, and confidential environment.
Often used in conjunction with medication, talk therapy can help eliminate or help control troubling symptoms associated with mental distress. It provides relief to individuals, couples and families suffering from a broad range of mental illnesses and emotional difficulties.
For some people, these issues are complex and meet the criteria for diagnosis of a mental health condition, such as depression or anxiety. But for others, talk therapy may simply serve as a safe place to discuss feelings and emotions triggered by their daily stressors, a medical illness, relationship issues, grief and loss, or the impact of a specific trauma.
Once your most salient concerns are identified, we will work together to understand how these dynamics are affecting your lived experience. We will co-design and co-author strategies to effectively mitigate the frequency and severity of your suffering. What’s more - we will begin to explore what life might look like beyond the limitations of your current distress.
